Last updated: August 28, 2025
1. Overview
This End‑User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“you”, “user”, “guardian”, or “school”) and TRT Technologies Ltd. (“TRT Technologies”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your use of the Eduno school management application, related websites, and services (collectively, the “App”). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
2. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, non‑sublicensable license to install and use the App for educational administration, classroom, and parent/guardian engagement purposes, as permitted by the features of the App and applicable institutional policies.
3. Accounts & Eligibility
- Use of the App may require an account provisioned by your school or organization.
- If you are a parent/guardian using the App on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are the minor’s legal guardian and agree to this Agreement and the Privacy Policy on their behalf.
- Schools are responsible for authorizing users and ensuring access is appropriate and lawful.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App in violation of law or institutional policy;
- Upload or transmit malicious code, unsolicited messages, or content that infringes third‑party rights;
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or derive the source code of the App except to the extent permitted by law;
- Bypass or interfere with security or access controls;
- Misuse student, parent, or staff information.
5. Ownership & Intellectual Property
The App (including software, interfaces, and documentation) is owned by TRT Technologies and its licensors. Except for the limited license granted, no rights are transferred to you. All trademarks, logos, and service marks are the property of their respective owners.
6. Third‑Party Services
Some features may depend on third‑party services (e.g., authentication, messaging, analytics, payment gateways). Your use of such features may be subject to third‑party terms and policies. We are not responsible for third‑party services.
7. Updates & Changes
We may provide updates, patches, or changes to the App. Updates may be installed automatically. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the updated App.

Basic technical support is available during business hours specified by TRT Technologies. Enhanced support options may be available to institutions under a separate agreement.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach this Agreement, misuse the App, or if required by law or institutional request. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and uninstall it. Sections intended to survive (e.g., Ownership, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) will continue.
12. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR‑FREE.

Eduno — Privacy Policy
Last updated: {{DATE}}
This Privacy Policy explains how TRT Technologies Ltd. (“TRT Technologies”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information when you use Eduno (the “App”). It also describes rights and choices available to schools, parents/guardians, and users.
1. Scope & Roles
- For data entered by or on behalf of a school or educational institution (“School Data”), the school is the data controller. TRT Technologies is the service provider/processor that processes School Data under the school’s instructions.
- For data collected directly from non‑institutional users (e.g., visiting our marketing site), TRT Technologies acts as the controller.
2. Information We Process
Depending on configuration and local laws, School Data may include:
- Student records: name, student ID, date of birth, grade/class, attendance, schedules, assessment/grades, assignments, disciplinary notes where authorized, special program enrollments, guardian relationships.
- Parent/guardian data: name, contact details, relationship to student, communications, payment history where applicable.
- Staff data: name, role, timetable, credentials/identifiers required for access.
- Technical data: device information, IP address, app version, diagnostic logs, cookies or similar technologies on web portals.
- Payments (optional): if enabled by the school and handled via integrated third‑party gateways, limited transaction metadata (we do not store full card numbers).
3. Legal Bases
Where TRT Technologies acts as processor, the school determines the legal basis. Where TRT Technologies is controller (e.g., our website analytics, account administration), we rely on consent, contract performance, and/or legitimate interests, as permitted by law.
4. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and secure the App and services;
- Create and manage user accounts and roles;
- Facilitate classroom, attendance, gradebook, messaging, and reporting features;
- Troubleshoot, support, and improve the App; perform analytics in privacy‑respecting ways;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce terms;
- If enabled by the institution: send notices (e.g., attendance alerts, announcements) via email/SMS/push.
5. Disclosures & Service Providers
We may share information with:
- The school/organization administering the App;
- Service providers under contract (e.g., hosting, authentication, messaging, analytics, payment processing) who are bound to protect personal information and use it only for our instructions;
- Legal or safety purposes (e.g., to comply with law, protect rights, investigate security incidents);
- Business transfers (e.g., merger, acquisition) subject to safeguards and notice.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use School Data to build profiles for advertising or unrelated purposes.
6. International Transfers
Data may be processed in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. We use contractual and technical safeguards consistent with PIPEDA (Canada) and, where applicable, GDPR requirements for international transfers.
7. Children’s & Students’ Privacy
Use of Eduno for minors is authorized and managed by schools and/or parents/guardians. Where required by law (e.g., COPPA‑like consent), the school or guardian provides the necessary permissions. Parents/guardians seeking access, correction, or deletion of School Data should contact the school directly; we will support the school in responding.
8. Security
We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including access controls, encryption in transit, network monitoring, least‑privilege practices, and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Data Retention
We retain School Data for the duration of the institution’s subscription and as instructed by the school, then securely delete or return it. For our own controller data (e.g., billing records), we retain as long as necessary for the purposes collected and to comply with legal obligations.
10. Your Rights & Choices
Rights depend on your jurisdiction and your relationship with the school. For School Data, requests (access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection) should be directed to the school. For controller data managed by TRT Technologies (e.g., our marketing site), contact us at [email protected].
11. Cookies & Similar Technologies
Web portals may use necessary cookies for authentication and session management. Where required, we provide controls for optional analytics cookies.
12. Data Breach Notification
We maintain incident response procedures. In the event of a breach impacting School Data, we will notify the institution without undue delay and cooperate with its investigation and notifications, consistent with applicable law.
13. Third‑Party Links
The App or portals may contain links to third‑party sites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before use.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. We will notify schools (and, where appropriate, users) of material changes. The “Last updated” date reflects the effective date.
